What it is
BPPV is one of the most common causes of vertigo, caused by tiny crystals in the inner ear moving out of place. It creates short bursts of spinning, especially when you move your head, and is very treatable.
Signs and symptoms
- Brief spinning when you roll over or look up
- Dizziness triggered by head movements
- Unsteadiness or nausea
- A feeling the room is moving
