What it is
Runner's knee (patellofemoral pain) is pain around or behind the kneecap, common in runners and anyone who does a lot of stairs, squatting or sitting. It is usually a load and control problem, not damage.

- Pain on stairs, squats or after sitting
- Discomfort during or after running
- Occasional grinding or clicking
