What it is
Tennis elbow (outer elbow) and golfer's elbow (inner elbow) are tendon-overload problems in the forearm muscles that grip and move the wrist. They are common in racquet players and anyone who does repetitive gripping.
Signs and symptoms
- Pain on the inner or outer elbow
- A weak or painful grip
- Tenderness that built up over weeks
- Pain with lifting, typing or racquet sports
How physiotherapy helps
The tendon needs the right amount of load to recover, not complete rest. We guide a progressive strengthening programme with hands-on treatment and, when helpful, shockwave therapy to speed things along.
At Meridian, care is always one-on-one with an AHPC-registered physiotherapist. We explain things clearly, give honest advice with no upselling, support your insurance claim and keep our pricing transparent.
