The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects your jaw to your skull. Pain, clicking and tightness here are common, often linked to clenching, stress and the neck, and respond well to physiotherapy.
Signs and symptoms
- Jaw pain, clicking or locking
- Difficulty or discomfort opening wide
- Headaches or ear-area pain
- Tightness with chewing or yawning
How physiotherapy helps
We treat the jaw and the neck together with gentle hands-on techniques, dry needling where helpful and specific exercises, plus advice on habits like clenching, to settle your symptoms.
At Meridian, care is always one-on-one with an AHPC-registered physiotherapist. We explain things clearly, give honest advice with no upselling, support your insurance claim and keep our pricing transparent.
